Open Sesame Event was 1st time organized in our channel countries and we selected Vietnam because of the strong demand of the local suppliers and also buyers’ continuous requirements.  The event help to deliver the local suppliers & buyers opportunities to prepare for the trendy sourcing requirements and understand the oversea markets.

 
We held the event on July 27, 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City and welcomed 202 attendees from 157 companies.The event was begun with the welcome keynote of Mr. Vo Tan Thanh, Director of VCCI, HCMC branch then followed by the presentation of Mr. Tran Dinh Toan, OSB's Deputy CEO. We also invited Mr. Stuart Smith, CEO, Wood Holmes and Mr. Geok Seong Wah, Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore to deliver a talk on service innovation then Mr. Derick Li, International Business Development & Marketing, Alibaba.com & TBC presented the tips for suppliers on Alibaba.com. The seminar was ended with the panel discussion which was highly appreciated by the audiences.

•To gather Vietnamese exporters and importers, give them a good opportunity to exchange and share experience to each other.
•To educate Vietnamese  suppliers to understand global buyers and there sourcing requirements.
